Supremo Nabin Pattnaik welcomed BJP and Congress Leaders of Ganjam into BJD at Jagannathpur
Brahmapur, 31st Aug: Odisha Chief Minister and BJD supremo Nabin Pattnaik today welcomed many BJP and Congress leaders of Ganjam district of Odisha into BJD at Berhampur. Many leaders from both political parties along with their supporters joined in BJD on Thursday. Pattnaik welcomed BJP leader Sarat Behera from Aska, one Congress and seven BJP councillors of Buguda, Congress dalit cell leader (Berhampur) Faisal Khan, BJP leader Rudra Prasanna Pani from Seragarh and hundreds of their supporters into the ruling party. Those leader were attended the ‘Ama Gaon Ama Bikash’ and ‘Ama Sahar Ama Unnati’ programme organised by BJD at Thakurani Padia of Jagannathpur. BJD General Secretary Pradeep Panigrahi, Vice-President Debi Prasad Mishra, Minister Bikram Keshari Arukh and others were present on the occasion. Pattnaik also interacted with the locals at Jagannathpur and asked them about their various problems.
The Chief Minister also laid foundation stones for a slew of projects in the district and attended an event marking 150 years of Brahmapur Municipal Body Corporation at Khallikote college ground during his visit to the district a day ahead of Local Self-Governance Day.
