Sanjay Leela Bhansali to make film on IAF air strikes
Bollywood is all set to make a film on Indian Air Force attack at JeM camp in Pakistan. According to report by a news daily, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Abhishek Kapoor are on board and talking to T-Series’ honcho Bhushan Kumar to give life to the story of bravery on screen. The movie will cover the entire incident which happened during the strike.
As reported by Mumbai Mirror, the project will be helmed by Abhishek Kapoor who helmed the film Kedarnath that received mixed responses from the audience. A source close to the development told the daily that the film will also focus on how the entire nation turned united for India’s fight against terrorism. It will also show Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman‘s journey of returning to India safely after he had to eject himself from his plane and land in Pakistan.
The daily quoted the source saying, “This project is our small way of saluting our armed forces and their families,” and “several A-list actors have shown interest in the film.”
