Odisha Govt. ordered Judicial enquiry on the Kunduli minor girl gangrape case
Bhubaneswar, 9th November: Odisha Govt. ordered a Judicial enquiry on the Kunduli gang rape case on Wednesday, which was occureed 29 days back on 10 th October at the backward and tribal dominated Koraput district. The enquiry will be conducted by one district Judge level judicial officer and after the enquire the govt. will take whoever may be the culprit, govt officials said. The govt decision for a Judicial enquiry raised the eyebrows of the public, because day before the announcement Koraput SP Kanwar Vishal Singh at his office called a press conference and categorically said that the allegation of the minor girl of gang rape by four uniformed persons in the broad day light on that day, was totally false. The final medical test reports by the three doctors team of Koraput Sahid Laxman Nayak Medical college and Hospital confirms that the victim was not at all raped on that day. Due to some psychological problem the minor girl of Musaguda village under Pottangi PS of Koraput dist, had alleged that she was gang raped by four uniformed persons. Two Psychologists from Bhubaneswar are now residing at Koraput and counselling with her to find out her real mental condition and to get the real fact behind the gang rape allegation. Odisha police Chief (DGP) Dr. Rajendra Prasad Sharma also echoed the same voice while talking to press at Police Head Quarters on Wednesday. The real punch of the story is, what made the government to announce a Judicial enquiry after 29 days of the incident and when the police completely denied the gang rape allegation made by the victim ?
